How does LipoLite work? LipoLite has a very small tube, named cannula, which is inserted in the skin through a small incision. A laser bundle is transmitted through an optical fiber along the cannula and liquefies the fatty tissue in the treated area. The liquefied fat is then removed through the same small incision. The areas that use Lipolite mainly pertain to: the neck, abdomen, thighs, buttocks, breast line and arms. Result of LipoLite: The results can be seen only after one procedure. You can get back to work after one weekend with a different shape and size, and the results will further increase in the next six – eight weeks. This method leads to the return of the natural curves of the body and to a new definition of the muscles.

 

LipoLite requires only local anesthesia, with or without intravenous sedation, depending on the size of the treated area. The treatment of large fat deposit areas requires different types of general anesthesia that will be chosen on the recommendation of the attending physician. After the procedure, the pain is significantly reduced.  

 

The advantages of laser-assisted lipolysis are the following:

• The procedure is minimally invasive and less traumatic compared to the classic liposuction
• It can also treat contour lines and irregular consistencies
• Fast rehabilitation and minimal post-operative unwanted effects
• Minimal bleeding and tumefaction due to the laser coagulation
• Sustained heating of the tissue during the treatment causes beneficial modifications of the cutaneous tissue; non-specific heating of the skin improves the general appearance of the skin which becomes firmer and softer.
• It allows the treatment of several areas which are not suitable for classical liposuction such as face, knees, arms, upper abdomen.
• The procedure can also be performed under local anesthesia (unlike liposuction which requires general anesthesia).
• A great advantage of the method consists in the induction of new collagen in the skin, ensuring its retraction and the effect of “hanging skin” is minimized. This retraction partially improves the appearance of stretch marks (after pregnancy).
